Judicial Service Commission (JSC), on Wednesday, finalised the decision to investigate cases concerning Chief Judge Shujau Usman and Judge Hussain Shaheed of the High Court.
JSC released a statement confirming that an internal investigative committee was formed to handle the cases.
However, the judicial watchdog did not provide any details concerning the cases.
The statement also disclosed that JSC decided to investigate a case against Chief Magistrate Ali Mustafa of Hulhudhuffaaru Court in Raa Atoll.
While the judicial watchdog has launched an investigation into Chief Judge Shujau, he was also previously questioned during a JSC probe.
Furthermore, the judicial watchdog is currently conducting an investigation of High Court Judge Hassan Ali, who was placed under suspension over the case.
