Ooredoo Maldives has won the "Small markets Telco of the Year" at Twimbit Telecom Awards, which confers the highest honor for telecom innovators.
Ooredoo Maldives has won the "Small markets Telco of the Year" at Twimbit Telecom Awards.
The award was conferred at a special ceremony held in Singapore. Other nominees for the award include Dhiraagu and Brunei's DST.
CEO of Ooredoo Maldives Khalid Al-Hamadi said that winning this award was a matter of great honor for the company.
"This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our incredible team, whose relentless efforts have made this achievement possible. The awards saw the participation of major telco and tech companies in the Asia Pacific Region including Bharti Airtel, Singtel, Starhub, Rakuten Mobile Japan, Reliance Jio, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, and China Mobile.
The Twimbit Awards, which confers the highest honor for telecom innovators, recognized outstanding excellence in 23 categories.
In addition to Ooredoo Maldives, KT, Reliance Jio, PCCW, Telstra, Optus, and Bharti Airtel won notable awards at the ceremony.
