Three resorts joined the tournament from Dhaalu zone this year; Iru Veli, Sun Siyam Vilu Reef and Baglioni Resort Maldives.
Reigning champions of the zone, St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort nor finalist Kandima Maldives had participated in this year's tournament.
After battling all teams, the highest scoring contender will secure a slot in the finals slated for August 7, Wednesday while the remaining two teams will compete for the second spot.
The champion will then advance to the semifinals and play against the champion of South Kaafu Zone, Hard Rock Maldives.
