Three world famous brands have started to renovate the islands that will be established as resorts in the following year.
Hard Rock Café’ is the most prominent one out of the three resorts that will be making her mark in the hotel market in the Maldives. Hard Rock Hotel Maldives will be opened on March 2019 which is located in Emboodhoo Falhu. Furthermore, Hilton will be adding ‘SAii Lagoon’ to their collection in the Maldives which is located in the same lagoon as Hard Rock as well.
Hard Rock Hotel will be specially designed for musicians where the guests have an opportunity to perform within the space provided. For instance, the resort will feature a ‘Rock Spa’ that comes equipped all with the best equipment and instruments required for a word class studio.
The property will have three dining choices, either from ‘The Elephant’, ‘The Butterfly’ or ‘Hard Rock Café, providing gourmet offerings from across the world.
The Italian franchise, Baglioni Hotels and Resorts, is also amongst the luxury resorts scheduled for opening up in 2019. In addition to authentic Italian cuisine in their restaurants, the resort also offers underwater bungalows and pampering Thai treatments at the Ayurvedic Garden Spa.
In 2019, Maldives tourism sector is set to flourish with the bar set high thanks to the opening of famous resorts such as Hard Rock Hotels, Hilton SAii Lagoon and Baglioni Hotel.
Currently more than 100 resorts are currently under development while various resorts have already opened this year.
