The National Awards Committee has today opened nominations for the National Award for Public Service.
The National Awards Committee has today opened nominations for the National Award for Public Service.
Nominations will be accepted until 1pm on Thursday and can be submitted via the dedicated portal: http://apply.presidency.gov.mv. Individuals and organizations can both submit nominations.
The award is designed to presented to individuals who have worked in government offices, SOEs, or government majority shareholding companies for over 35 years.
Recipients will be awarded a shield, a badge of honour and certificate by the President.
The award is being presented in appreciation of the work and contributions of recipients over long periods of service.
The Public Service Awards were introduced in 2021.
