Telecom giant Dhiraagu, on Sunday, made a donation to Speech Therapy Assesment Programme carried out by Beautiful Eyes Down Syndrome Association in Haa Dhaalu Atoll.
The donation was formalised at an event hosted by Beautiful Eyes at Central Park in the reclaimed suburb of Hulhumale'.
Dhiraagu provided assistance under their policy of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Beautiful Eyes is a local NGO that aims to provide assistance to people diagnosed with Down syndrome as well as their families.
Additionally, the organization works to increase awareness and educate the public about Down syndrome.
The telecommunications company also makes regular donations to children's rights NGO's during its annual road race.
