Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has appealed the reinstatement of 10 administrators dismissed from the courts at the Supreme Court.

In 2019, ten administrators were dismissed from the criminal court, Family Court, and High Court, in addition to seven magistrate courts, stating they did not receive the required amount of points in an employment evaluation.

When this case was submitted to the Employment Tribunal, they decided the administrators' jobs needed to be reinstated. When JSC appealed this case in the High Court, they upheld the Employment Tribunal's ruling.

JSC submitted the case to the Supreme Court for appeal last week. However, the court is yet to decide whether they will accept the case.

JSC said that they were dismissed because their posts were dissolved. Even so, both the High Court and the Employment Tribunal ruled that the posts did not appear to have been dissolved.
