Social Ministry commences 'Haalu Kihineh?' program in ViliMale'

The 'Haalu Kihineh?' program aims to visit families and elderly persons and enquire about their health and wellness, work closely with the citizens, and provide assistance to families where needed.

Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) has commenced their 'Haalu Kihineh?' [literally translated as 'How are you?'] program in ViliMale' yesterday.

The 'Haalu Kihineh?' program aims to visit families and elderly persons and enquire about their health and wellness, work closely with the citizens, and provide assistance to families where needed.

The program is being carried out in ViliMale' in collaboration with the ViliMale' Women's Development Committee, and will proceed for a period of two weeks within which they aim to visit all households in the island.

Commencing the program in ViliMale' yesterday at 16:00hrs, Minister Aishath Shiham also joined in, visiting many residences along with the team.

The Ministry revealed that the target is to visit every household in the country within the coming year and gather information about their livelihoods, offering assistance from the State where needed.

Although the visits will be conducted as per a schedule drafted by the Ministry, they encourage persons who require swift assistance to reach out to them through their hotline 1433.
