Man dies in Feydhoo Link Road accident

A 36-year-old individual has passed away in an accident on Addu City Feydhoo Link Road last night.

Police identified the victim as Ibrahim Siyad, a resident of Feydhoo. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Feydhoo Health Centre. The collision between his motorcycle and a car occurred at 7:30 pm last night.

The driver of the car, Mohamed Mahil Mumthaz, 23, from Fiyoari, is currently in police custody, according to a police spokesperson.

In a separate incident earlier that day, a 30-year-old man died in an accident on Laamu Link Road.

The victim, Ibrahim Nauzam from Laamu atoll Maabaidhoo, died at 8:45 am while being treated for serious head injuries sustained in the crash.
