Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has decided to set up a judges' panel to advice them on matters relating to strengthening the administrative functioning of the courts.

A statement released by the commission said that they have reached the decision to compile the 'Advisory Panel of Judges on Judicial Administrative Matters'.
The Board will be made up of:
1. Chief Justice
2. President of JSC
3. Chief Judge of High Court
4. Judge representing Supreme Court in JSC
5. Judge representing High Court in JSC
6. Judge representing lower courts in JSC
7. Chief Justice's appointee from Superior Court Judges
8. Chief Justice's appointee from Magistrate Court Magistrates
9. Chief Judicial Administrator
JSC said that the appointees from Superior Courts and Magistrate Courts will be changed yearly under a policy that will be determined amongst the judges.
