STO Group of companies have extended a donation of MVR 1 million to provide assistance to those affected by the recent conflicts in Gaza, following Israel's attacks.
The funds were donated to the Gaza Fund of the International Aid Campaign (IAC), a local organization dedicated to providing relief efforts to the Palestinian people. This donation was made during a telethon event aimed at raising funds for the Palestinian community.
During the telethon, STO Managing Director Abdulla Saeed expressed the group's commitment to continuing their support for the cause future as well.

The significant sum of MVR 1 million was jointly contributed by various entities within the STO Group, including Allied, Fuel Supplies Maldives (FSM), Maldives Gas, Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company (MIFCO), and MFS. This marks the largest contribution from a single party to the Gaza Fund to date.
According to STO, this donation has been made on behalf of the company, its shareholders, and employees within the STO Group.
