President has decided to lower WAMCO's waste disposal truck fee to MVR 500

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has announced on Sunday his decision to reduce the fee charged by Waste Management Corporation Limited (WAMCO)'s truck for garbage disposal services from the current amount of MVR 750 to MVR 500.

Speaking at the campaign event of the candidate contending in the parliamentary elections under People's National Congress (PNC)'s ticket, President Muizzu remarked that the fee amount of MVR 750 that is required to be settled for garbage disposal in small pickups is an increasing burden for the people.
