The 30- year old man critically injured in the car accident last night has been taken to the Male' City and is receiving medical treatment at the ICU.
The 30-year-old young man wounded in the accident at Fuvahmulah last night has been transported to Male’ City in critical condition and is receiving treatment at IGMH (Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital).
He was transferred to the capital city via a Maldivian Airline flight last night to receive further care after his initial treatment at Fuvahmulah Hospital.
IGMH said that the individual is currently being treated in the Intensive Care Unit. They disclosed that his condition is very serious but refrained from sharing more information on the details of his condition.
A Police media official stated that the accident that occurred on Bodufannu Road was reported around 2215 hrs last night.
They revealed the cause of the accident to be the crashing of the motorbike into a nearby wall after the speeding motorcycle went out of the driver's control.
No further details have been released, as the investigation is ongoing.
