The city's garage issue will be resolved with the auto center now being built in Hulhumale', HDC announced yesterday.
The business claimed it took the initiative to construct an auto center in Hulhumale because the majority of garages there currently operate out of confined spaces and homes. Given that it is unsafe to weld and repair in public spaces, HDC has decided to open an auto center in Hulhumale'.
The auto center is being built in Hulhumale' Industrial Village and will be built by China State Construction Engineering Corporation. The business received a contract with a two-year deadline last month.
According to HDC, the auto center is set to be a 35,400 square foot facility with five stories and a basement. Seven service elevators will be present in the building. The center will have plenty of spacious garage spaces.
Additionally, a dedicated electric vehicle charging station will be constructed inside the structure.
Upon completion, the facility will be able to harvest rainwater and include a renewable energy generation system, according to HDC.
HDC claimed that because of how well-lit the building is, energy use will be decreased.
A water recycling system will also be installed in the building. Additionally, a waste recycling system will be created.
The project's expenditure has not yet been disclosed.
