In the wake of the violence during a football match at Galolhu Stadium, another individual has been apprehended, bringing the total arrests to ten.

Ibrahim Luban Abdulla, 20, became the fourth person arrested in connection with the incident and was remanded in police custody for five days by a local court.

Luban faces accusations of assault, intimidation, and acts prejudicial to public interest. Despite having a history of five detentions and two similar charges, Luban denies being charged or proven guilty of offenses of this nature so far. In his statement to the police, Luban claims he was present as a spectator during the incident and was not involved in the crime.

The court order mentioned that Luban's actions were believed to encourage the assaulters, possibly playing a major role in the violence. Although the police considered it a gang-related crime, the court suggested it might have been a sudden act of violence on the field.

Additionally, two individuals were arrested on Friday, and another was arrested yesterday in connection with the Galolhu Stadium violence. The court remanded all three accused to 15-day judicial custody, identified as:

1. Ruvaaguge, R. Maduvvari, Ibrahim Nuaim Sharmil, 19 2. Fiverose, G.Dh. Thinadhoo, Rikzu Adam, 21 3. H. Hilton, Ibrahim Aleef Rauf, 34

The incident occurred in the last 10 minutes of the second division football tournament between Kuda Henveiru and Victory. Supporters of Kuda Henveiru entered the ground, creating tension and attacking Victory Coach Sobah Mohamed Ibrahim.

The match was marred by violence when Mohamed Hajim Riffath of Kuda Henveiru was kicked by Anatoly in retaliation for a foul he did on Anatoly. This led to a controversy after referee Mohamed Javiz decided to show Anatoly a yellow card instead of a red card. In the past too, Kuda Henveiru had expressed their dissatisfaction with the referee's decision.

The police are actively investigating the matter as they work towards resolving the aftermath of the Galolhu Stadium violence.

Details of some of those arrested have not been revealed so far.
