Maldives Police Service, on Wednesday, revealed that two individuals were arrested in Rathafandhoo, Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll, over gang violence.
The two local men apprehended over the incident were aged 21 and 28 years old.
According to the police, the altercation involving two gangs was reported at approximately 0230 hrs.
It was further revealed that two individuals who sustained injuries during the incident received treatment at Rathafandhoo Health Centre and Dr. Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital.
The police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
