Opening of Parliament and delivery of Presidential Address

Male' - February 5, 2026: The opening session of the People's Majlis. During this session, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu delivered the Presidential Address. The President stated that the financing facilities obtained so far to pay off the Sukuk were secured at interest rates lower than nine percent.
