Eid activities were organized at different locations in Male' City yesterday on occasion of Eid-al-Adha. Vehicles were banned on the streets of the city from 16:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs between which many families and friends had stepped outside for a joyous stroll. Many had also gathered to watch the traditional activity hosted by MNDF Officers at Kalhuthuhkalaa Koshi while a group from Vaavu atoll Kendhoo had also put on a special traditional performance on the streets. Meanwhile, the age-old Eid tradition, 'Maali' parade was also held at Rasfannu.
