The registration deadline for Ooredoo Maldives' most exciting running event, Fun Run, will end this Saturday.
This run will be held on the 20th of next month in Hulhumalé. Registration for this run can be done through Ooredoo's website.
Ooredoo Fun Run is one of the most popular public events among their annual activities. Last year's event in Hulhumalé had more than 5,000 participants.
Fun Run is open to everyone above 6 years of age, and the 5-kilometer short run with various activities is enjoyable for both new runners and regular runners.
Ooredoo said the aim of Fun Run is to show that running is a fun and joyful activity for a healthy lifestyle. At each kilometer completion in Ooredoo Fun Run, there will be stations with color, water, and fun activities. Since this is not a timed race, participants can complete it by walking, running, or even dancing. Ooredoo Fun Run has Standard Kits and Fun Kits. The Standard Kit, which includes a Fun Run T-shirt and wristband, costs MVR 100. The Fun Kit, costing MVR 210, includes an Ooredoo Fun Run T-shirt, wristband, cloth bag, sunglasses, and bandana.
Ooredoo continues to hold this run in different regions of the Maldives every year.
