A man is in critical condition following an accident in Fuvahmulah last night. He is currently receiving treatment in IGMH where doctors have said he is in critical condition.
An individual has been brought to Male’ with serious injuries sustained in an accident in Fuvamulah last night.
The accident took place in the ‘Dhiguvaadu’ area of Fuvahmulah when the motorcycle lost control and collided with an excavator on ‘Naibuthuhthu’ road.
According to the police, a 27-year-old man was injured in the accident around 11.30 hrs last night. He initially received treatment at Fuvahmulah Hospital.
He was brought to Male’ for further treatment and is currently undergoing treatment at Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), where doctors have stated that he is in critical condition.
On April 1st 2024, there was another accident in Fuvahmulah, involving a motorcycle that lost control and collided with a pole at a zebra crossing.
The victim of this accident was also brought to Male’ yesterday at dawn, and according to the police, his condition is also serious. The victim is a 32-year-old man.
Police are investigating both cases and no further details are available at the moment.
