Furaveri Resort Maldives hosted a tourism familiarization trip to a group of travel agents hailing from western Indian region.
Moreover, it was reported by the resort that the familiarization trip was organized in association with Youngistan Travellers, a leading destination management company from India, promoting Maldives tourism. Travel agents from Surat, Ahmedabad and Mumbai visited for the familiarization trip.
Furthermore, the familiarization trip aimed to create brand and property awareness of the Maldivian tourism industry to promote better arrival figures by introducing Indian travel agents to the island nation’s tourism. In addition to this, the trip also focused on promoting Furaveri Resort Maldives as well which involved a tour of the island and details about the resort’s features.
Furaveri Resort Maldives lies roughly 45 minutes away on a seaplane trip from Velana International Airport, the country’s primary air-gateway. “We are seeing a steady increase in tourist arrivals from India which is mostly attributed to our Indian travel trade partners who understand the uniqueness of Furaveri Maldives and are promoting the same to leisure travelers,” said Mr. Ali Siyad, the Senior Sales and Marketing Manager of the resort.
“Maldives is a hassle-free destination with visa on arrival and direct flights from many Indian cities. We look forward to hosting more trade partners in the months to come and create a positive aspiration for Furaveri Maldives,” he added.
Moreover, the resort confirms positive feedback from the travel agents who visited the luxury slip for the familiarization trip and noted Furaveri Maldives as a potential destination for families and honeymooners alike.
