Discounts to be applied next month for bills already paid

State Electric Company (STELCO) has announced on Saturday night that it would be adjusting next month's electricity bill for customers who paid last month's bill before the special discount was announced by the government.

The discount was initially announced by the government for electricity and water used during the month of Ramadan owing to the rising temperatures and considering that it is generally a high consumption month, meaning the bills would be unusually high.
