Police made a welfare check after receiving reports of a person staying at a guesthouse in Maafannu ward of Male' City having been out of contact, and discovered him lying injured in his room at the guesthouse.
Police made a welfare check after receiving reports of a person staying at a guesthouse in Maafannu ward of Male' City having been out of contact, and discovered him lying injured in his room at the guesthouse.
The person was immediately taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital, where Police said he is currently being treated in the Intensive Care Unit.
Police said that the injured man is Maldivian. They declined from providing further information about the injuries sustained, nor did they reveal how the injuries had been caused.
Police said that their investigative teams are currently active at the location of the incident.
