The project to develop 72 mixed residential units in reclaimed suburb Hulhumale has been awarded to Indian firm Renaatus Project Pvt Ltd.
Housing Development Corporation (HDC), charged with the development of Hulhumale, stated that the housing units, to be developed along the road leading to the ferry terminal, are to be completed within two years and two months.
The corporation has not yet disclosed the area of the land allocated or procedures for awarding the project.
HDC’s managing director Mohamed Saiman had signed the contract while Renaatus Project had been represented by its chairman R.P. Selvasundaram.
HDC had also recently signed with Batch Construction, Damas Company and Apollo Holdings to develop mixed residential units.
