Guesthouse association oppose blanket ban on Israeli passport holders

National Hotels and Guesthouses Association has said that it does not support a complete ban on Israeli passport holders entering the Maldives.

Speaking at a meeting of Parliament's Committee on National Security Services (241 Committee) to discuss an amendment to the Immigration Act seeking the ban, the association said the measure could harm the guesthouse sector.
