Maldives strongly condemned the terrorist attacks on two pumping stations on Saudi Aramco's East-West pipeline in the governorates of Al-Dawadmi and Afif in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on May 14.
The government condemned it as a cowardly act of terrorism, adding that the recent acts of sabotage in the Arabian Gulf targeted the security and stability of the region and threatened the global economy.
Maldives reaffirmed its solidarity with Saudi Arabia against those threatening its security and commended their constructive role in bringing harmony, peace and security to the entire region.
The government asserted that Maldives is fully committed to the fight against terrorism and will continue to work closely with the international community in eliminating this global menace.
