Football Association of Maldives (FAM) is seeking a legal advisor and a financial controller.
These roles are part of the FIFA-appointed Normalization Committee (NC)’s efforts to reestablish the association.
The full time legal counsel will be responsible for providing legal advice and ensuring that FAM complies with both local and international regulations.
The financial controller’s role involves managing, administering, and advising on all FAM financial transactions, including payables, receivables, and asset management.
The salary for both positions is negotiable, and interested candidates must apply by 12:00 hrs on October 24.
FAM is also recruiting for a full-time general secretary.
Under former FAM President Bassam Adeel Jaleel, the association faced significant disruption, and football activities came to a halt.
Bassam, currently facing corruption and money laundering charges, has been suspended by FIFA. The Normalization Committee has been tasked with recovering lost funds, stabilizing FAM’s administration, and moving towards an elections.
