Happy Market lowered prices of their products in time for Ramadan.
The company released a statement on Monday, detailing the specific items for which prices would be slashed, in particular eggs and chicken products.
Happy Market noted that the prices of food items soared every year ahead of Ramadan, noting that the increase is even greater this year.
"We sense the difficulties people will face and so, for the month of Ramadan, our company ensures that we will sell products at the lowest prices possible".
Happy Market also called on other businesses in Maldives to lower prices for Ramadan.
