FlyDubai launches their Maldives-Sri Lanka flight route operations.
The famous United Arab Emirates' budget carrier, FlyDubai commenced its Maldives and Sri Lanka route flights on Sunday, October 30.
FlyDubai flights will operate the Male'-Colombo route daily at 08:35 a.m., and return set for 12:55 p.m. The routes will be operated by the airline's Boeing 737 class commercial carriers.
The airline's operations in the route comes while five other international carriers operate between the countries.
Earlier in October 2022, FlyDubai announced it will launch direct flight operations connecting Addu City Gan International Airport, with Dubai International Airport. Lowest fares for the trips between Dubai and Addu City are priced at USD 550 (MVR 8,481).
With the launch of the airline's flight operations with direct landings at Gan International Airport aside from Velana International Airport (VIA), FlyDubai flights operating weekly to Maldives is expected bump to 28.
