Tomorrow has been decided as the 30th day of Ramadan as no Islamic countries reported sighting the moon tonight.
In a statement released by the Islamic Ministry tonight, they stated that reputable global experts indicate that the moon of Shawwal will not be visible above water in Male' or any other island in Maldives or any other Islamic nation.
With no reports of moon sightings being received even after sunset today, under the set guidelines, the Ministry declared that tomorrow is the 30th of Ramadan, and Wednesday will be Eid.

"We extend greetings of this blessed Eid to the President of the Republic of Maldives, beloved citizens, and the Islamic Ummah. May Allah accept our fasts and good deeds and forgive us our sins," the statement read.
"And May Allah maintain us in doing good deeds even after the end of Ramadan."
