President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed will be hosting an event at Muleeaage to mark this year's Eid-al-Fitr celebrations and exchange greetings with members of the public.
According to the President's Office, the President's Official Residence at Muleeaage would host the exchange of Eid greetings from 9:30 am to 10:30 am on Eid Day.
The President's Office stated that invitations had been extended on behalf of the President and First lady to members of the public, government officials, foreign dignitaries, and representatives of various companies and organizations to attend and exchange Eid greetings.
"The Presidents also invite as many children and youth as possible to join their families in the Eid greetings," the office said. The President's Office also advised those attending the event at Muleeaage to use the main entrance of the building on Medhuziyaaraiy Magu.
According to the calendar, this year's Eid-al-Fitr falls on Wednesday, 6 April.
