The Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company (MIFCO) has announced it is seeking an agency to recruit expatriate crew members for its fishing vessels.
The corporation said it was seeking expatriates from India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Indonesia to work on its vessels.
MIFCO has invited interested agencies to submit the relevant application form before Thursday.
MIFCO’s announcement seeking foreign crew members follows its recent acquisition of a new fishing vessel named ‘Jazeera 103’. The vessel was added to its fleet last week.
The leading fisheries corporation has said it is seeking foreign crew members owing to difficulty in recruiting locals.
