Strong winds, rough seas predicted for next six days

Maldives Meteorological Service (MET Office) has cautioned that Maldives will experience strong winds and rough seas over the coming six days.

In a press release issued today, the MET Office said that a depression over the Bay of Bengal is expected to intensify and move towards Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka over the next 24 hours. In addition to this, a low-pressure area is situated over the far southeast of the Maldives.
