The Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resources and Agriculture announced that Fisheries Expo 2019 is scheduled for December 6 to 8.
The Ministry revealed that the Fisheries Expo would be held at Huravee School in the reclaimed suburb of Hulhumale'.
The purpose of the event is to showcase tools, products and information related to the fisheries sector on a wide scale.
The expo will commemorate the 39th Fishermen's Day which is annually marked on December 10.
Participants of the Fisheries Expo will have the opportunity to advertise and sell their products.
Individuals interested in showcasing at the expo can submit their applications before November 28.
