A fire broke out at a container used for storage purposes in Hulhumale' Phase 2 late this afternoon. MNDF controlled the fire promptly, and no one was harmed in the incident.
A fire broke out at a container used for storage purposes in Hulhumale' Phase 2 late this afternoon.
An MNDF Media Official said that the incident occurred in Hulhumale' Phase 2, in what used to be the Farukolhufushi area.
The Fire Services received reports of the incident at 16:00 hrs today.
No persons were injured in the incident.

The container was used as a storage for hardware material, which was damaged in the fire.
MNDF was able to contain and put out the fire within a duration of thirty minutes.
