Finland International School, operated by Islanders Education, has obtained accreditation from the International School Association (ISA).

This marks the first accreditation granted to a local school by an international agency for upholding education standards recognized by the global community.

ISA, acknowledged by UNESCO and prominent international organizations, bestows exclusive global accreditation in education. It has significantly contributed to the development of the International Baccalaureate Organization. To date, the organization has accredited 48 schools in 30 countries that meet international standards and uphold quality education.

With ISA accreditation, Finland International School is the sole school in the South Asian region with full membership in the organization.

Eija Valanne, the school Principal, hailed Finland International School's success, stating, "It is a significant achievement for the school to receive recognition not only locally but also internationally. With this accreditation, the school will unlock numerous opportunities."

"With this acknowledgment, we can collaborate with other schools. Through ISA connections, our students will gain international exposure. We will be able to offer more comprehensive professional development opportunities to our teachers," the Principal added.

Adly Rashid, Director of Islanders Education, emphasized that Finland International's success is proof that local schools can uphold international standards. He attributed the school's success to its rigorous practices in recruiting local teachers and collaborating with Finnish educators.

"This is a historic and highly significant achievement. With this accreditation, we are not just an international school within the country but also in the global arena," Adly remarked.

He described the accomplishment as a substantial stride towards the country's recognition for delivering education that aligns with global standards.

The ISA network will enable Finland International to enrich its educational experiences further, according to Islanders Education.
