Minister of Home Affairs Imran Abdulla on Friday, met with Indian Counterpart, the Indian Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah.
The Indian Minister noted that an extensive discussion to further "deepen and strengthen ties" between the two countries.
The delegation is visiting India on the invitation of Minister Amit Shah.

Minister of Home Affairs Imran Abdulla and a delegation of law enforcement officials, including Commissioner of Police, Mohamed Hameed, and ministerial officials also met Assistant Director General of Police (ADGP) Shri Atul Karwal 32nd Director of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy.
Both parties discussed strategies to further enhance cooperation.
The delegation also met with the four Maldivian Police Service officers currently undergoing training with the 72nd batch of Indian Police probationers at the Indian National Police Academy.
