Nujoom Preschool's admissions still ongoing

Nujoom Preschool, a Malé and Hulhumalé based preschool which operates on the foundation of Islamic way of life, has announced that it is still open for admissions for the new academic year.

The school, which teaches children from play school until Upper Kindergarten (UKG), detailed that it is still accepting admissions as there are still slots available in some of its grades.

Nujoom Preschool says that it prioritises the wellbeing of children and organises its education and activities in a manner convenient for parents. As such, the school does not practice giving any homework to children in any of the subjects taught on campus.

These subjects include Quran, Arabic, Tarbiyah (Islamic values), Dhivehi, English, Creative Arts, Science, Social Studies and Mathematics. Quran, its Tajweed (way of recitation) and Hifz (learning by heart) are taught in a 'voshufila' concept, the school said.

In addition to academics, the school also focuses on character building, and instilling good habits in young children. The school also revealed that it also provides the extra attention required for children with special needs, and highlighted that its SEN class students demonstrated significant progress last year.

Nujoom Preschool also organises fun activities for its students out of school campuses.

The school is currently accepting children between the ages of one to six, into classes ranging from play school to UKG. Play school fees are currently at MVR 500 for one hour per week. A two hour class per week go up to MVR 1000.

Baby nursery and nursery classes are fixed at MVR 1500. LKG and UKG class fees are MVR 1800.

Nujoom Preschool's two campuses are located in Malé and Hulhumalé. The Malé campus is located near King Salman Mosque in Roashanee Magu, while the Hulhumalé campus is located in Hithigas Magu near Red Wave Mega Mall.
