Fathimath Dheema Ali's pair emerged as victors in the Under 19 category of the table-tennis event at the All Thailand Tennis 2022.
In addition to claiming a doubles' win, Dheema had also advanced to the semi-finals of the Under 15 singles event as well.
Dheema was paired with Thailand's Fang for the doubles event. Earlier, the duo had won in the Under 15 doubles category of the All Thailand Tennis held in January 2022.
The star table-tennis player had also advanced to the quarter-finals of the Under 17 singles event in the previous All Thailand tournament.
She added another "feather to the cap" with her silver-medal win at South Asian Junior and Cadet Championship 2022.
Dheema is currently getting trained in Thailand for the upcoming Commonwealth Games 2022.
The female national team of the Maldives qualified for the upcoming games had flown to Croatia to complete a 10 day training program with Croatian players.
Earlier in December 2021, Dheema won the Mixed Doubles event at the World Junior Table Tennis Championship. She was paired with Czech Republic's Martin Shipp.
With her win at the Championship, Dheema became the first ever Maldivian to win a World TT Championship game.
Dheema, the youngest ever player of the Maldives National TT Team is ranked 20th in the worldwide Under-15 female rankings of TT players.
