Recognizing the harmful impact of plastic straws on our planet's delicate ecosystems, particularly marine life, Pullman Maldives has successfully phased out plastic straws from all guest areas, highlighting the resort's ongoing commitment to sustainability, in alignment with the global initiative by the Accor Group to combat plastic pollution and preserve natural resources for generations to come.
In a strategic move to minimize the increase in plastic waste stemming from imported bottled water, the resort established an on-site water bottling facility.
