BML announces working hours for Ramazan

Bank of Maldives (BML) on Wednesday announced the official opening hours for Ramazan 1442 and the first week of Shawwal 1442.

According to their announcement, Bank’s branches and service centres will be open from 0930hrs to 1200 hrs.

Self-Service Banking Centres will continue to provide deposit, withdrawal and transfer services 24 hours a day. Cash Agents on inhabited islands will also be available to provide basic banking services to customers during Ramazan.

The bank also revealed that international transfers, checque processing, payroll and local payments, transfers will be processed on the same day if requests are received before 1100hrs.

Meanwhile, other bank cheques will be processed on the same day if deposited by 1000hrs as per bank.

All requests after cut off times will be processed on the next working day.

Detailing some other services, BML stated that all visiting customers from Male' city can request tokens via the QueueBee application.

Additionally, Account Opening Centre, Loan Centre and Business Centres will provide services via pre-booked appointments that can be made via their website.

BML encouraged all customers to bank from home and utilize Internet Banking Services and Mobile app as much as possible during this time.
