In commemoration of World Senior Citizens' Day, EyeCare has organized a health screening event tailored for senior citizens.
The event is being organized by EyeCare in association with Aged Care Maldives and Maldives Senior Citizens Association. The event began at 9 a.m. today and will continue until 5 p.m. at Galolhu School.
The event will offer free consultations with ophthalmologists and internal specialists, eye check-ups, and eye health tests. Additionally, services such as blood pressure and sugar testing, oral and dental health checks, and body mass index assessments will be provided.
According to EyeCare, the event aims to create awareness among senior citizens about health and well-being management and provide an opportunity for them to share experiences, build social relationships, and receive essential health services in a friendly environment.
