Dhivehi Expo Services and CDC Events has announced the return of the Food and Hospitality Asia Maldives (FHAM) "Global Culinary Challenge & Exhibition", set to take place from May 8 to May 10, 2023 at Hulhumalé Central Park.
Considered to be one of the most anticipated events of the year for the hospitality industry, FHAM provides a unique opportunity for exhibitors and clients to come together in an interactive forum. The event will attract local and foreign exhibitors, buyers and suppliers to explore the latest trends, services, products, and innovations in the tourism sector.
With a diverse exhibitor profile that ranges from food and beverage to marine transport engines and accessories, the exhibition is expected to be attended by leaders in the hospitality industry.
This year's event will feature over 500 chefs from more than 40 resorts, hotels, and restaurants in the Maldives and surrounding region representing 11 different nationalities competing in the "Chefs Competing for Honours" the global culinary challenge supported and endorsed by the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS). Four “A” grade judges and over 15 international judges, including presidents from eight Chef Guilds will oversee the chefs competition.
FHAM has also arranged for several concurrent events, including a mocktail competition, a barista championship, and the housekeeping and bed decoration competition to highlight the importance of the housekeeping segment within the industry.
