Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has concluded the Basic Airport Firefighter Course for the 29th batch.
Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has concluded the Basic Airport Firefighter Course for the 29th batch.
The 43 day course, which commenced in July, covered aviation safety and emergency response training. The trainees received instruction on how to respond to fire incidences that may occur at the airport, the area surrounding the airport and on airplanes.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, MACL's Deputy Managing Director Mohamed Lamaan said that the course exhibits the high standards of in-house training programs at the company.
MACL said that this is the first time this course has been conducted through the company's in-house training programme. The course is approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of Maldives.
MACL has recently open a new fire station at the airport with modern technological facilities.
