Parliament has decided to hold two extraordinary sittings this month ahead of the start of the new session in February.
Ruling People's National Congress (PNC) Parliamentary Group Leader Ibrahim Falah told Mihaaru News that these sittings are being held to appoint members to independent commissions before the 60 day deadline stipulated in law is reached.
