Digital Nomads will soon be able to work remotely from Italy, as it becomes the latest country to join the WFH or Work From Home list. Many people have converted working from home into a lifestyle with COVID-19, allowing them to log in from anywhere in the world; now known as Digital Nomads.

The Italian administration issued a decree known as 'Decreto Sostegni-ter' in January, which was recently approved into law. Although the name "Digital Nomads" does not appear in the law, it is intended to attract visitors from non-EU countries who utilize technological means to perform highly qualified labor activities remotely, independently, or for a company that is not based in the Italian state.

According to Luca Carabetta, an Italian parliament member from the Five Star Movement, the conditions for remote workers will be determined by the availability of proper housing, sufficient salary, health insurance, and a clean criminal record. However, exact specifics about some of these needs and how they will be implemented have yet to be determined. It's also worth noting that remote workers will have to fulfill a minimum wage requirement, but the exact amount has yet to be determined.

Italy stands out as one of the top tourism destinations in Europe, with its sunny and pleasant weather that lasts all year, as well as breathtaking scenery and appealing cities. Coupled with technological advancement, the country is undoubtedly attractive for the remote worker lifestyle.
