Maldivian Airlines has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Etihad Airways, the second-largest airline in the UAE, to facilitate specific services.
The agreement facilitates enhanced connectivity and the promotion of holiday packages through code-sharing, interlining, or reciprocal service sales between the two airlines. The collaboration is expected to simplify travel for passengers from Etihad to 17 destinations accessible via Maldivian.
Maldivian and @etihad Airways have entered into an interline agreement, facilitating seamless travel access to multiple destinations and enhancing travel convenience and options for global travelers.

Ibrahim Hamdan Mohamed, General Manager of Maldivian Commercial, highlighted the advantages of the interline agreement, enabling convenient travel for Etihad Airways to various destinations of Maldivian Airlines.
Etihad Airways Chief Revenue Officer, Eric Day, expressed the airline's commitment to delivering seamless domestic flights for its passengers.
Maldivian Airlines has previously established a similar arrangement with Emirates.
The agreement with Etihad will also ease travel to Abu Dhabi for Maldivian passengers.
