A man has been arrested in connection with the theft of over MVR 400,000 from under the seat of a motorcycle.
Jahangir Aalam, 45, a Bangladeshi national, was taken into custody and remanded for 15 days by the Criminal Court yesterday.
During the remand hearing, police reported that MVR 442,750 had been stolen from the motorcycle.
