The first virtual chapter of Startup Grind X will be hosted in capital Male' on May 3, 2020 at 2000 hrs.
The world's largest independent startup community connecting a network of entrepreneurs, Startup Grind X's first virtual event in Maldives is organised by local management consultancy firm Sparkhub.
It will feature Mohamed Afzal (Apo), who was recently featured in the Top 30 Young Entrepreneurs List of Forbes Asia, who will share his experience and know-how with aspiring local businesspeople.
Afzal is the CTO and co-founder of RAGE, one of the fastest growing online to offline (O2O) technology and retail platforms in Malaysia, and the lead engineer for SOCAR Malaysia, the largest car-sharing platform in South Asia.
He began his career nine years ago, working as a full stack developer for a number of Maldivian media including Sun, Avas and Vnews. He has also worked for LottieFiles and Hummingbird Travel.
