India ranked sixth last year, with the United States, France, Switzerland, and Poland ranking 7th, 8th, and 9th, respectively. Poland is a new tourism market for the Maldives. Last year, the country ranked 14th in the list top tourist arrivals to the Maldives.
A total of 980,000 tourists have visited the Maldives so far this year. Of these, 60 percent come from the top 10 tourist arrival markets.
So far this month, 88,000 tourists have arrived in the Maldives, which is an increase of 9.5 percent compared to the same period last year.
